Modify the Image and Url link to launch in a new window

By default, any images and url links within a post will launch the image or website in the same window. To launch in a separate window, this is what you need to do.

For image
1. Locate: href="http://text/

2. Add the text target="_blank"
3. It should look like this

For Url Links

How to place an image in your Profile?

1. Make use of the build in webcam on the Mac to capture your face.
2. Edit in Photoshop.
3. Upload the image in a post.
4. In the edit Html view, look for "src="http://text/text/your photo.jpg"
5. Copy the url "http://text/text/your photo.jpg" into the url field.


How to post an image and label your portfolio?

1.Remember to document your works in the highest possible resolution, especially if you need to show the details.
2.Ensure sufficient lighting when you capture the works.
3.Do not use a web cam or camera enabled phone.
4.Enhance your pictures in Photoshop and resize to min. 800 x 600 pixels. Add in the watermark.
5.Tags or Label your post. This allows users to browse your category with ease.
6.For example if your ceramics works falls in the 3D category, you should label as "portfolio, 3D".

Posting for Video Clips

Blogger only allows you to upload and display images. To upload movies, you are required to sign for an account at youtube and link to the movie you have uploaded at youtube.


Duration and size:
Most videos on YouTube are under five minutes long. There is a 10-minute length limit. There is a100mb limit.

Format for uploading:
Common format such as AVI, .MOV, and .MPG file. Youtube recommend using MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 320x240 resolution with MP3 audio, at 30 frames per second.

I would advise to re-output your file from iMovie with the above setting.

Flickr, an online photo management and sharing application. You are able to post photos from flickr directly onto your blog. For example, if you have 20 images of your artwork, you can upload to flickr and link it to your blog without having to post all the images in 1 post!
